Blame the weather and no internet for the delayed post.
After Vijji and Nikhil, it was time to bid goodbye to our beloved Baby Bway Pratham. Its been three days since he left and we already are missing him so much. With him in the office, none of us got bored as he made sure that there was always a fun factor. Because of him we gained a lot of knowledge regarding the legal issues concerning our work. We wish him Good luck and we hope his Vietnam trip becomes a huge success! Dard, you will be missed.

Anyways, this Goodbye was again followed by welcoming new people. After a month of discussion over the phone and chats, we finally had our Kolkata interns with us at the HET office. A group of four from the Presidency college, they are a super enthusiastic lot. They have amazing ideas and they seem to be having big plans for the project. It’s good! They will be handling the marketing part of the project and thanks to the latest turn of events they might also have to handle the mobilization part as we have very less time left. The first task for them was to help us re-decorate the office. It had been pending for a long time and the kids helped us a lot with that.

The Presidency group also took charge of setting up the shop. They came up with good plans and I and Shikha were very happy to see how they were working on the idea of the shop with a lot of dedication. We hope these guys take the project really far. The shop looked beautiful and it also attracted a lot of customers. People came in and asked for the products. In fact, these people made their first sale on the very first day of opening the shop. Things are actually moving in a good direction.

Tomorrow is a big day! We have a meeting scheduled with both Kulthi and Manhaar women and Tindar women are coming down for training of the felt. If everything works well, we might be able to finally register a women Self Help group.
